Syndicate your Content with AbsolPublisher

The Functionality for pulling RSS feeds has been added to AbsolPublisher's rich set of features.

RSS stands for Rich Site Summary (or Really Simple Syndication) and is an international standard for the syndication of summary information, news, images and articles to and from other web sites on the Internet.

"...information can be pulled from a partner web site anywhere in the world."

By using AbsolPublisher's RSS functionality, a summary list of information can be pulled from a partner web site anywhere in the world and can be displayed in the same format as in-house content. Alternatively, news and other relevant information can be provided by AbsolPublisher from your web site to other sites and RSS news-readers.

"RSS is catching on as one of the most widely used XML formats on the web," says Andrew Kinnear, Absol's Lead Systems Architect and senior developer on the AbsolPublisher product. "Most major websites including Yahoo and CNN.com have already adopted this standard."

RSS is an XML-based technology and as such, fits into Absol's commitment to utilising tried and tested technology in a way that meets their client's requirements.
